About
Alisha Goldblatt lives in Portland, Maine. She received her A.B. magna cum laude from Bowdoin College (1995) and her M.A. (English) from Boston University (1999). Since 2002, she has taught English at Greely Middle School and Greely High School in Cumberland, Maine.
In 2019, Alisha Goldblatt was a Finalist for the Barrow Street Press Poetry Prize, and she was a featured poet at the Belfast Poetry Festival. In 2021, she received Honorable Mention in the Homebound Publications Poetry Prize, which, given the state of the world, felt weirdly apt.
Alisha is the parent of two beautiful children, and the spouse of one lovely husband.
